How Do You Write a Dissertation?

Many of us have completed the university that we need to write a dissertation for the final year project. Still, some people don’t know what a dissertation is? Every part of the dissertation should be included in the table of content, you can create a table of materials easily by using heading styles in word. Don’t forget to write the page number in front of the topic.

List of Figures and Tables

If your dissertation is filled with figures and tables, then you definitely need this page in dissertation. You will mention all the figures and charts of the dissertation with their page number. You can also specify the name of the figures and tables in the section.

List of Abbreviations

If you used a lot of abbreviation in the dissertation that you have to write these abbreviations here along with their definition or full form.

Glossary

Glossary is very similar to the list of the abbreviation. The only difference will that you will write all the terms which are hard to understand here. You will write words with their definition to help understand them better.

Discussion

The discussion section is significant as you will relate all the results and provide the expectation. You will also compare your research with the previous finding of the same research if available. If the result doesn’t match you provide a suitable explanation for it so the reader can understand it. The discussion will also include the future plan for further research about the topic.

Conclusion

The conclusion will include all the results and hypotheses as to how both things relate and prove the hypothesis. It will also include all the summary of the dissertation with crucial factors of the topic.
